Jill Redfern
Jill Redfern
Jill Redfern is a respected collegiate coach, former elite athlete, and experienced mentor who has spent her career helping young athletes develop confidence, resilience, and leadership through sport. She is a National Lacrosse Hall of Fame Inductee and member of the USA Lacrosse Scout Team). With decades of experience coaching at the Division I level, Jill has guided student-athletes through the demands of high-level competition while emphasizing the values of accountability, teamwork, and personal growth.
Throughout her coaching career, Jill has been deeply committed to developing leaders within her programs. She has worked closely with athletes to strengthen their ability to communicate effectively, navigate pressure, and positively influence team culture. Her approach to coaching extends far beyond the game, focusing on helping athletes build the character, mindset, and leadership habits that will serve them throughout their lives.
Jill’s leadership philosophy centers on empowering athletes to take ownership of their roles within a team, build strong relationships with their teammates, and lead through both action and example. Her experience working with young athletes at critical stages of development allows her to connect with students in meaningful ways and help them understand how leadership evolves as they grow.
Through leadership seminars and mentorship, Jill shares the lessons she has learned from years in competitive athletics, helping young athletes better understand themselves, communicate with confidence, and step into leadership roles within their teams, schools, and communities.
Our Presenters
Sarah Ross
Sarah Ross is a respected collegiate athletics administrator, former Division I student-athlete, and experienced mentor who has dedicated her career to helping young people grow as leaders in sport, the classroom, and life. She currently serves as Associate Athletic Director for Student Success and Senior Woman Administrator at East Stroudsburg University, where she works closely with student-athletes to support their personal, academic, and professional development.
Throughout her career, Sarah has been deeply committed to the holistic development of student-athletes. Prior to joining East Stroudsburg, she served in leadership roles at the University of New Hampshire and Saint Francis University, where she developed and led educational programming focused on leadership development, career readiness, wellness, financial literacy, diversity education, and student-athlete support.
Sarah’s experience in athletics also includes coaching at the Division I level, where she helped guide Saint Francis University’s bowling program to a Northeast Conference Championship and its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. Her perspective as both a former athlete and coach gives her a strong understanding of the discipline, resilience, and accountability required to thrive in competitive environments while also maintaining balance and purpose.
A decorated student-athlete herself, Sarah was a four-time National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association Academic All-American and the Northeast Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2016. Her impact at Saint Francis was so meaningful that the university named an annual athletics award in her honor—“The Rossy”—recognizing student-athletes who demonstrate outstanding dedication to mental health and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Sarah brings a powerful and inspiring perspective to the Elite Leadership Collective, blending her experiences as an athlete, coach, administrator, and mentor to help young leaders strengthen their confidence, broaden their perspective, and lead with purpose in every area of life.
James Malone
James Malone is a Holy Cross alumnus, former Division III head lacrosse coach, and higher education professional who has dedicated his career to helping young people grow as leaders, students, and teammates. He currently serves as an assistant coach at Dickinson College and as Associate Director of Admissions, where he works closely with students as they explore their goals, passions, and future paths.
James has spent his career in higher education across Pennsylvania, building meaningful relationships with students and families while supporting growth both on the field and in the classroom. His experience in collegiate athletics has given him a strong understanding of the discipline, accountability, communication, and resilience required to lead within competitive team environments.
As a coach, James has guided student-athletes through the challenges and opportunities that come with high-level competition, emphasizing the importance of character, confidence, and connection in building strong team culture. His leadership approach extends beyond the game, focusing on helping young people better understand themselves, communicate effectively, and lead with purpose in all areas of life.
In his role in admissions, James is a strong believer in the value of a personalized, mission-driven education. Whether supporting students through the college search process or mentoring athletes through their development, James brings a thoughtful, student-centered perspective to leadership.
James offers a unique voice to the Elite Leadership Collective, blending the insights of a coach, mentor, and educator to help young leaders build confidence, strengthen their communication, and pursue their future with intention.
Caitlin Dallmeyer
Caitlin Dallmeyer
Caitlin Dallmeyer is Duke University Alum, Athlete and a former Division I, III and current DII collegiate coach, educator, and leadership mentor dedicated to helping young athletes develop confidence, communication skills, and strong character. With more than two decades of experience working with student-athletes, Caitlin has built her career around developing leaders both on and off the field.
As a college coach, Caitlin has guided athletes through the demands of high-performance team environments, emphasizing accountability, resilience, and the power of communication in team culture. Her work with athletes extended beyond skill development, focusing heavily on mentorship, leadership growth, and preparing young people to navigate pressure, adversity, and responsibility.
In addition to her coaching career, Caitlin has worked closely with schools, parents, and students as an educator and speaker on topics including leadership development, team dynamics, communication, and navigating social media responsibly. She has presented to student groups and athletic programs on how young leaders can use their voice, actions, and digital presence to positively influence their teams and communities.
Caitlin brings a unique perspective to leadership training, blending the lessons of competitive athletics, mentorship, and real-world leadership development. Her seminars focus on helping young athletes better understand themselves, communicate effectively with others, and develop the confidence to step into leadership roles within their teams, schools, and future careers.
