Summer Seminars
Our seminars are designed to help young athletes grow into confident communicators, supportive teammates, and impactful leaders on and off the field. Each session combines guided discussion, real team scenarios, and interactive activities to help students build leadership skills they can immediately apply within their teams, classrooms, and communities.
Rising 6th–8th Grade Seminars
Building Confidence, Communication, and Team Awareness
Middle school is a critical time for young athletes as they begin to find their voice, build confidence, and understand how their actions affect a team. These seminars focus on helping students develop the foundational skills needed to become positive teammates and emerging leaders.
What Participants Will Gain
Participants will:
• Discover their natural communication style and learn how the way they speak and listen impacts their teammates.
• Practice working with teammates who think, communicate, and respond differently.
• Build confidence through interactive leadership activities and group discussions.
• Develop comfort speaking in front of small groups and sharing ideas respectfully.
• Learn how strong teammates intentionally include and support others.
• Understand how words can influence a team environment and how to use language to encourage and motivate others.
• Explore common middle school team challenges such as handling mistakes, supporting teammates, and speaking up when something feels wrong.
• Begin to understand how behavior online reflects who they are as teammates and leaders.
Rising 9th–12th Grade Seminars
Developing Confident Leaders for High School Teams and Beyond
High school athletes are often expected to lead—whether through their voice, their example, or their ability to influence team culture. These seminars focus on helping athletes better understand themselves, communicate effectively with others, and confidently step into leadership roles within their teams.
What Participants Will Gain
Participants will:
• Identify their natural communication style and understand how it influences their leadership presence.
• Learn how to adapt their communication style to work effectively with different personalities, teammates, and coaches.
• Strengthen confidence in their ability to lead by applying leadership skills in realistic team scenarios.
• Identify moments where leadership feels most challenging and develop strategies for navigating those situations.
• Analyze real team dynamics and learn how leaders proactively shape positive team culture.
• Practice navigating difficult conversations and giving or receiving feedback constructively.
• Explore how leadership extends into digital spaces, including how social media impacts reputation, team culture, and future opportunities.
